Untouched waters since last season must be mouth watering time for boat anglers which get underway at the beginning of april.
Due to the severe weather forecast for the w/end (6th April) the Wales Inter Teams get together had to be cancelled and is due to take place on the13th of April instead. Previous to that w/end boats did ok, with Islyn and Cae Adda Bays providing fish. As there has been large hatches of black buzzers any imitation of these can be effective fished near the top of the water dispite the cold snap.
Indeed the teams came and ecpecially the regular Trawsfynydd fishermen who has knowledge of the lake did best.It wasnt an easy day at all but this water is as fair as they come and if you get to know of how and where to fish, it can only get easier.
Several weekends have already been booked so to avoid disappointment book in advance.
